As Uk prime minister Theresa May said in her Twitter , Professor Stephen Hawking was brilliant and extraordinary mind, one of the greatest scientists of his generation. His courage, humor and determination to get the most from life was an inspiration, his legacy will not be forgotten.
Prof. Hawking died at the age of 76 this morning at his Cambridge home. His children have praised his ‘courage and persistence’ that inspired millions Around the world. He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 1963 and given 2 years to live. However he had beaten all odds, it was discover that his llness was slower than expected, he married twice and had three children.
Not many of his scientific followers aware that he agreed to appear in TV shows like ‘Big Ben theory, Simpson and Startrek. He was also author of 15 books.
His children, Lucy, Robert and Tim said in a statement: ‘We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today. He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years
‘He once said, ‘It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love.’ We will miss him forever’. He roamed the cosmos from a wheelchair, making discoveries that changed how we see the universe.
