Earlier Babar Masih and Zulfiqar Qadir of Team Pakistan-2 defeated Pankaj Advani, Laxman Rawat and Aditya Mehta of Team India-1 in the deciding frame to claim the winners’ trophy.
The Men in Green put up a good show against the rivals during the critical moments of the game to lift the winning trophy, with Qadir also taking home the gold medal.
Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association manager Naveed Kapadia believed that the country would win at least one medal at the event.
“Our players have performed really well,” Kapadia told media earlier this month.”
